# Finanple

> Finanple is a free web application for couples to manage their finances together. Track shared expenses, personal spending, income, and savings goals. Available in Spanish, English, and Portuguese at https://finanple.app

## About

Finanple helps couples maintain financial transparency by:

- Calculating fair expense splits based on each person's income percentage
- Tracking shared household expenses separately from personal spending
- Setting and monitoring joint savings goals
- Supporting multi-language interfaces (Spanish/English/Portuguese)

The app is designed with a "neubrutalism" aesthetic featuring bold borders, vibrant colors, and playful shadows.

## Key Features

1. **Income Management**: Register each person's income to calculate fair contribution percentages
2. **Shared Expenses**: Track household expenses with automatic proportional splitting
3. **Personal Expenses**: Each person tracks their own expenses privately (visible only to them)
4. **Savings Goals**: Create joint savings goals and track progress together
5. **Dashboard**: Monthly overview of all finances, balances, and spending by category
6. **Multi-language**: Full Spanish, English, and Portuguese support with URL-based routing (/es/, /en/, or /pt/)

- Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL with Row Level Security)
- Auth: Supabase Auth (email/password)
- i18n: Paraglide.js (compile-time translations)
